FAQ

Q: What is the CW?

A: The new CW Network consists of a six-night, 13-hour primetime lineup including Monday through Friday nights from 7:00-9:00 PM; Sundays from 6:00-9:00 PM; Sunday from 4:00-6:00 PM outside of prime time as well as a Monday-Friday afternoon block from 3:00-5:00 PM and a five-hour Saturday morning animation block. Altogether, the network will program 30 hours a week over seven days. Q: I missed an episode of my favorite show. Can Central Illinois' CW make a copy for me?

A: We broadcast our programming directly from the network and do not have a copy of the tape in house. We also can't distribute copies because of copyright restriction. The CW does not make the tapes available for sale; however, previous seasons of select shows are available on DVD. Check your local DVD retailers (or look online) for selection and availability.

Q: When will new shows be airing? Will my favorite shows have repeats anytime soon?

A: Central Illinois' CW does not have control over what episodes air when, that is decided by the distributor. The distributor of a program is contracted to create a certain number of original shows a year. They repeat programs both to extend the amount of runs of a show and to give you, the viewer, the chance to record your favorite program if you missed it the first time. Most programs start airing their new shows in the fall, however the CW will provide mid-season debuts early in the year. Keep checking centralillinoisCW.com for the most up-to-date information on when new episodes of your favorite shows are starting.

Q: I entered a contest, how do I find out if I won?

A: The rules for each contest will vary. Sometimes our contest winners are notified at the end of each contest. Other contests require viewership as well as a call to the station to win. For official rules to any contest or a list of winners for each contest please send a self addressed stamped envelope to: "WBUI - Contest/Promotions" 2510 Parkway Court / Decatur, IL 62526 or log on to www.centralillinoiscw.com.

---------------------------------------

Q: How often can I enter contests?

A: You may enter our contests as often as you like; however, only one winner per household is allowed every 90 days.
